Praise & Prayer Requests July 3rd, 2001

God heard YOU.....

KIDS EDUCATION 
        With deep gratitude for your prayers, we're thrilled our daughter,
Rachèle, passed her Baccalaureat exam.  (There's about 50 per cent success
rate among candidates). Others in our church have a second chance to get
points on Friday (pray).  Remember the world scrutinizes our private school
system expecting failure, and the French government opposes Christian
education (only 18 Christian schools throughout France).

RAJESH
        We can get Rajesh a hearing aid for only $ 60 in India.  So that's
a relief. The other kids both there in Guntur and our other two orphanages
in Bombay are all doing great.

MISSIONS CONFERENCE
        The Convention in Baltimore went well, so I heard, and those
representing Orphans First did a fantastic job.  Pray hearts will not
forget the little ones, and that third-world missionaries will be stirred
to begin working to reach them, as well as for continued support.

HOME FRONT
        My husband and I will be in Paris this weekend where he'll be
preaching, and we'll both be attending some important meetings on Religious
Liberty issues with key people.  There are also some very key people I'll
be meeting who could help with the orphans, so pray for that too.

PERSONAL ISSUE
        I'd asked you to pray for something confidential which could affect
our lives, therefore also the orphans.  Since asking you to pray, God has
gently began moving, but please don't let up until its fully DONE.  Think
of Esther and her maidens praying, and then God woke up King Ahasuerus to
remind him there'd been an injustice with Mordecai, and it needed to be set
right.  Well, pray like that.  If God breaks this one open, it would be as
if a major obstacle for growth was removed, and I believe the results would
be many more children being reached, and many more souls being saved.  

TRAGEDY
        A little, black English girl on Colony Vacation in France has
apparently been abducted.  Pray for her.  Pray for all the stolen, abused,
hurting, frightened children.  There are still MILLIONS to reach.  Pray for
those devastated by divorce.  Pray for God to literally PREVENT pedophiles
from getting to the children.  Pray for divine intervention, supernateral
coverings over children suffering hunger, sickness, cold, pain, fear,
rejection, lonliness.  Pray for God to raise up and send LABORERS, to send
even angels, to love the children everywhere.  Pray for Christians to have
BROKEN hearts for the children, for the CHURCH to embrace the role of
reaching the children everywhere, everywhere.

PERSONAL THANKS
        I cannot find words to say "Thank you" in the way I mean it.  Your
prayers are accomplishing God's will.  You're the missionaries, you who
pray.  You're the heros, and I love you.  Thanks sincerly.
