Special Prayer June 18, 2001

        I will not be attending the Annual Missions Convention in Baltimore
from June 25 - 30 this year, for the first time in 26 years.  However, I
have a few wonderful volunteers working on an Orphans First Booth in my
stead.  The purposes of this booth are;
* to sensitize people to the needs of suffering children everywhere,
* to ispire missionaries working in the third world to begin an orphanage  
  under the umbrella of O.F.
* to raise more support on every level, from financial to practical help.

        Please pray for these vulunteers.  Pray especially for Pat Houghton
who has taken an enormous chunk of details off my shoulders, working
voluntarily on top of a regular job and not too great health.  And pray for
Nancy Curra, who is actually in a wheelchair suffering with MS.  She asks
this
"Please keep my health in prayer....for strength and stamina for
Convention week. I know God will answer... Specifically pray for my lungs
and breathing, energy, minimal pain, and no body spasms."

        It's incredible that, for the most part, those who help, and those
who GIVE most are not the rich, not those living in comfort, but the poor
in health, in finances and those who identify with the poor children
because they themselves know suffering and are broken.  Thanks to all those
who give.  And remember, the greatest gift is prayer.

RAJESH
        URGENT. Pray I can get the hearing aid soon for young Rajjesh, and
have it sent to Baltimore where a visiting Indian friend can bring it to
our orphanage there. (Otherwise, we're not going to India till Fall, and it
would never get through by post).  

FRANCE, personal
        Continue praying for exams. Rachèle has English Literature on
Wednesday morning, then probably two orals on July 5th.  NB - This is far
more competitive than a USA High School diploma, only half who even take
the Bacalaureat pass, and many don't even take it.  Thanks for praying, and
also for a personal, CONFIDENTIAL situation where we have a certain need.
        Pray also for my family and I back here while my husband leaves for
States this weekend for almost two weeks.  And pray for my work load.

CHILDREN EVERYWHERE
        Never stop praying for God to protect children from pedaphiles,
rampant everywhere, from abuse, hunger, disease, neglect, fear, war,
poverty, loneliness, divorce.....and undeserved suffering.  Pray for the
hurting children everywhere.  Just picture them and then pray.

        I love you prayer warrior friends, greatly.
