Dear Prayer Partners,

The following is just one of the reports I've received thus far on the
Christmas Project. This is from Minsk, and the girl who's writing speaks
broken English which is why she uses words like "peculiar" (meaning
"meaning"). I wept to read this. Tears of joy, and tears of burden. I'm
burdened for the children who are in those orphanages, others on the street,
and those who are now forced to leave the orphanages with no social help, no
finances, and no-one to guide them. What will happen to them? Please pray
with me that God will allow us to help them concretely. Read on..........

"Dear Janey,
Thanks you so much for your help and support provided to Minsk. Now we can
really see we are part of huge ministry.
The play was just marvelous! I believe it was a special evening of love and
care for these kids. The most incredible thing is that even until the very
last day I could not imagine if the play would be OK, because this kind of
kids have a very peculiar character. It’s not that easy to arrange something
with them. We bought beautiful gifts for them. Having your permission to it,
we were thinking of the things they may need most, considering their age and
needs. For the little ones (up to 10 yrs), we bought notebooks, shampoos for
children/puzzles, ball-pens, socks for boys and embroidery set for girls.
For guy up to 16 yrs: nice big journals or notebooks, shampoos or douche gel
or soap and a ball-pen.
For girls up to 16 yrs: shampoo, a big notebook or journal, a ball-pen. Also
we gave two gifts to the two girls the whole ministry started with, with
whom we've been dealing all throughout a year (I don't remember if I
mentioned that, but they have been transferred to the other orphanage. The
conditions and the atmosphere as such at that orphanage are much worse, but
I hope God keeps working in their hearts. And we do our best to remember
them and bring them for the church services on Sundays).
I think these kids were very pleased, and I believe these gifts were
peculiar to them, because we kept everyone of them in mind, by name. And
when you start to think about them by their names, the gifts become very
specific and unique.
Also, please, continue to pray for the kids. Now I have some ideas and plans
to
deal with the ones who finish the school. Many children I have been dealing
with and made friends are about to leave the orphanage, and they have no
hope about what ot do next. They fear to go into the future, since they are
not socially secured.
A huge thank to you for taking part in the amazing work carried out in Minsk.

With love and respect,
Nastya"

Thank you for praying. Please also pray for our upcoming trip to USA.
Pray for all the details to come together: flights, finances, schedule,
contacts, meetings, our son's needs etc. This trip could make a big
difference for Orphans First, as each trip has done thus far. So, let's
pray, for the sake of the precious children.

     Because of compassion from Heaven,
