Orphans First Christmas Project, Russia -- prayer requests January 4th,
2002
Dear Prayer Friends,
Straight from the mouth of the Pastor heading the Christmas
Project in St.Peterburg, Russia, may the following prayer requests bring us
all to our knees.
How easy it is to pray in comfortable surroundings while those actually out
on the
forefront suffer the difficulties and stress of the concrete groundwork.
May our
prayers uphold them, and allow us to honestly reach 3,400 needy children in
that city without hindrance. Please also check out my website and follow
link
to KIDSAVE. Read the story of Sacha, 11-years-old, still needing to be
adopted.

"Traditional Russian Orthodox Christmas is on January .......but
the play will be
on January 12th and 13th simply to have enough presentations to cover all
the children. We have been
informed that some may still be gone on these dates.
We are (also) working on transportation to deliverer gifts to
approximately 400
handicapped children. Transportation here is a major problem and
expensive to rent trucks. We plan to do it. For overall statistics, the
number of children will (actually) be determined
by the Directors of each home. They have made their
commitments ...... but commitments here are
relative to the way they feel when the time comes. The major thing we
need now is an abundance of prayer.
I cannot tell you how stressed out (in a good sense) this project
puts our little Church but we praise God for the opportunity to do
it. This year is beyond anything we have ever attempted. The logistics
is unbelievable. We really need you to stand with us in much praying.
Pray that we can arrange some transportation for the smaller
children or they cannot come in this cold. We are having a very frigid
winter snap right now from -10C to -24C. It makes it hard on the small
children and handicapped. God will provide a way if we pray.
We could do this without your help but it would be on such
a small scale ...... Orphans First has opened an
amazing door to reach, now, thousands of children. God bless you with a
tub on honey poured on your heads.
(Finally), Keep praying for our building so we can have some of
these
children 365 days a year not only for a few hours. Please." Pastor
Dennis Ellis.
Thank so much for joining me in prayer for this project.
Blessings,
