Dear Prayer Friends,

        I just sent you prayer requests two days ago, but before the year
ends, I thought you'd want an update on young  Artur, the Russian boy you
prayed so much for and helped him be adopted.  These words from Artur's Mom
will make you both laugh and cry. Read on.

        From Artur's Mom : " Artur is continuing to do marvelously! Thank
you again so much for all of your help!  .........Our beloved son... told
me on Christmas Eve that he had never had presents in Russia! I could cry
all over again!"  Love, Joy.

        Imagine that!  No presents.  Not one.   This means that Andrei,
Artur's best friend from the same orphanage, will not get a present this
year again.   However, there is hope for Andrei as he (like  Artur) comes
from one of the very orphanages in St.petersburg, Russia  we're hoping to
provide Christmas presents for this January.  Please pray all the money
comes in.  Please share the need with your friends and churches.  It's not
too late for people to participate.  And please, please, please pray for
Andrei (Artur's best friend) and his sister Lida, that they could be
adopted by Christian parents also.  Pray for other orphans needing parents.
 And pray for Christians to adopt.
