I'm hearing that not everyone received these prayer requests, so in case
you didn't, here they are again.  And thanks for praying for my eyes.  I
have new a new lense-contact, and new glasses for when I don't wear the
contact. The doctor made a mistake, although I do have fastly digressing
eyesight.

Orphans First Prayer Requests Sept. 25th, 2001

ADOPTION - St. Pete.
        Please continue praying for the adoption of an 11 year old boy in
St.Petersburg, Russia.  The parents not only are short of funds for
pursuing but will actually lost money for time off work when they go to
pick their son up.  Pray for this adoption---and all other Christian family
adoptions---to happen RAPIDLY.
        Pray for future Orphanage in St. Pete, and our upcoming Christmas
program to reach 3,500 orphans.

FRANCE
        While America prays, France summons all the psychologists to
counsel the devastated French. The contrast is stunning.  As we watch news,
we see Americans (mostly) calling God, and French crying to psychologists. 

        Since last weeks explosion of a chemical factory in Toulouse, the
whole country is in turmoil.  Toulouse, just a few hours from our home, is
ruined.  Schools, university etc. are closed and we still do not know cause
of accident. Pray for souls to turn to Jesus.
        Racial and religious prejudices are also festering in France whose
Arab population is high.  Pray for us as we live in the most highly Muslim
populated area.  Pray for wisdom and protection, and a harvest of souls.

PEDOPHILE ACTS
        Finally, teachers in numorous schools have been found to have
sexually abused numerous children.  Pedophilia is rampant (not surprising
when you consider the country kicked God out, promotes and propagates overt
immorality, and blatantly displays pornography on TV).  Pray for the
children whose lives are destroyed, and for God to expose pedophiles and
protect children from sexual abuse, everywhere.

INDIA
        Owing to present precarious world events, our trip is looking
unlikely.  Please pray for our three children's homes there and that we
could somehow reach many more children.  Pray for the ones we love and miss
so much in our homes there.

AFRICA
        Again, world events make future plans unsure, but pray we can still
pursue our desire to reach more children throughout Africa.  Pray for a
needy couple in Zimbabwe ministering to orphans and with personal health
problems. Pray for Shadrack, Jane and other street children in S. Africa.

WORLDWIDE
        Pray for street children, slave children, hurting children of every
kind everywhere......Pray more than ever before that God would take them
HOME quickly, painlessly, speedily BEFORE the world events cause them to
suffer more.  Oh, may God deliver the children.
