Orphans First Prayer Requests April 12th, 2006 May I wish you, faithful prayer friends, the most wonderful Easter. Thank you for standing in the gap for the little ones. While we celebrate the resurrection of the Life-giver, many children still live in deadly situations -- starving, beaten, sickly, abandoned, frightened etc. Our role in this precarious world is to co-labor with our Father in prayer so that these hurting little ones can be relieved of their suffering. Thank you for doing just that -- interceding. ASIA - Thank you for continuing to pray for our children in Grace Home in Guntur, INDIA. Pray for our potential partnership with a school for poor children in Calcutta, and another ministry with AIDS children in N. Delhi. Pray we hear from God for these new ministries -- and for sponsors. EUROPE - Thank you for continuing to pray for Alexandra and the street children in Moscow, RUSSIA, as well as the adoptions in St. Petersburg. Pray for the protection of the street children, their openness to Jesus, a car for Alexandra to simplify her work, and a future orphanage. Pray for some hurting teens in France who have been hit hard since the attack upon our work when we left two years ago. Pray for God to meet their needs. AFRICA - We are receiving phone calls from pastor friends in Africa needing support for orphans and poor children. (We had supported some of these in the past). Pray for sponsors for some needy children in Ghana, and for wisdom concerning the many demands we receive. ADOPTIONS - Thank you for lifting up the children who are still awaiting adoption (Nikita, Sonia, Alexander, Roman, Beatrice, the Pekarek's 2 girls -- and thousands of others). USA, foster care, adoptions etc. - There are still many needy children in America. Pray for a four-year-old girl and her sister who was in a terrible home situation. Pray for their Christian aunt and uncle to get full custody of these children. Troubled youths -- the world is full of them. Please continue praying for Alex, C------, James, Katrina, and those we know who live on the street. Continue praying that strongholds would snap and that these teens would find their way back to Jesus -- Him only.
