Dear Prayer Family, Thank you for caring & praying. Here are the present Orphans First needs. First, since this is time sensitive, may I request prayer for my husband who is presently in the hospital with a (perhaps) broken finger. We actually don't have Medical Insurance at this time. Please pray Louis' finger is not broken, & that there will be a means to pay the bill. HAITI We may begin working with one or two different orphan ministries in Haiti in hopes of better reaching the children. The children in the orphanage we had originally taken on and supported for a year and a half still need prayer but are now refusing our help. The Haitians running this orphanage now refuse to receive our food. They do not agree with the accountability system we set in motion (The entire story is too long and too complex to divulge by e-mail, but trust me when I tell you we've tried everything). Please pray for those children and for our future. INDIA Pray for our orphanage in Guntur, India. Pray also for another small orphanage in this area asking for help. Pray for God to guide us regarding partnering with a children's ministry in Calcutta doing a phenomenal job and seeking help. And pray for the Johns in New Delhi who are asking us to help them with AIDS children. Pray for finances for all of these projects, and for God to raise up more sponsors for India. RUSSIA Pray for Alexandra & the street children in Moscow. Pray also for the ADOPTIONS of the many Russian children who've been kept on hold... ADOPTIONS Continue praying that beloved Nikita, Roman, Sonia, Alexandra, the two siblings being adopted by the Pekareks and all the other waiting children could very, very QUICKLY be brought home to their forever families. This is becoming very urgent since some have been waiting for years. YOUTH Continue praying for the troubled youths we are in contact with. Some are totally caught up in something they don't even understand--darkness. BOOK My parenting book will be available any day now (published by CarePoint ministries). We may not know till Heaven what our prayers have done, but we are changing little lives, one by one, with Jesus. Thank you for praying. Janey L.
