Orphans First Prayer Requests -- Jan. 10th, 2006
Dear Praying Friends,
Thank you abundantly for praying for the Christmas Project. Thousands
of children were blessed. While we still await reports from some countries,
Peru has already put a video on their website for the month of Jan. Enjoy
seeing the children of Chorrillos being blessed:

The street children in Moscow were deeply touched by our efforts for
them. However, they are still living in the streets. Please pray that this
year we could find a home for them.
Here are more prayer requests for our orphanages and children's
ministries:
India - Guntur, Grace Home - Pray for continued spiritual growth for all the
children, for new children coming in this year, and for Pastor Samuel's
health.
New Delhi - We have been asked to partner with a new work in New Delhi where
there are two different houses with AIDS children in them. Please pray that
God would raise up specific sponsors for them.
Haiti - Pray for our orphanage. Because of lack of adequate finances, this
year caused us to take drastic measures, sadly reducing the number of children
there in hopes of better providing for the weakest and those who are sickly.
We had hired someone to oversee the food distribution--but they just quit.
We also set up a precious missionary couple to oversee that work (thank God
for them--they are doing a good job). However, there are still problems
which we cannot quite define, but we need MEGA prayer for wisdom to know how to
proceed. Unless there is unity and submission to the Orphans First policy,
it will be difficult to continue pouring funds into this work. Meanwhile, the
children are very, very precious and we are continuing to help them. But
there are many spokes in the wheel and the children are not receiving adequate
care. We know Satan hates the children. He will do all he can to make this
work fall apart and to hurt the little ones. Please pray against this.
Adoptions - I have no recent news on the Russian orphans needing to be
adopted. Continue praying for the Pekarek's two girls, for Nikita, for Roman,
Sonia & others... Pray for the adoption agencies to re-open in Russia, for
children to be adopted everywhere & for God to raise up foster parents.
Troubled Youth - Continue praying for troubled youth -- for Alex, James,
Brandon & some others. Pray for godly men to invest in fatherless boys. Pray
for God to raise up more youth pastors, and pray for those youth who have
serious issues to deal with.
O.F. general needs & personal - Thank you for praying for Orphans First (for
continued growth & smooth running & for the team: John, Jonathan & Donna,
Dawn, myself). Pray also for my family during a time of transition. Pray for
my book, coming out in Feb. Thank you.
NB -- helping children is always warfare. Prayer is our secret weapon to
tear down strongholds.
