ORPHANS FIRST PRAYER December 19th, 2005 GOD ANSWERS PRAYER. CHRISTMAS PROJECT. Today our first Christmas Project took place -- in Chorrillos, Peru. 50 children happily received their Bibles, and gifts. Hopefully, we can get photos on the web for you to see soon. Please continue praying for the needs of the children to be met (and for finances to continue coming in so we can buy the presents) in Moscow, RUSSIA; Almaty, KAZAKSTAN; Tyumen, SIBERIA; and our orphanages in Pap, HAITI and Guntur, INDIA -- by His grace. Also, since I sent out the last requests from Joyce Schaller about the problems with adoptions in Russia, she wrote to say: "... I just received word from International Family Services that there is to be an announcement about newly accredited agencies and among them should be Hand In Hand." Hopefully good new will follow. Let's not let up on prayer. Meanwhile, from another Joyce (Pekarek), she said this concerning her own adoption agency: "...they have announced that new re-accreditations should occur by the end of this month. Please have people pray that nothing hinders the government agencies from doing this.Our adoption process actually started in August 2004 so the girls have been waiting for 16 months...Irina will be turning 14 in March, so we really are praying that our final step for a court date can be completed in the next month or two. Our girls are Irina (13) and Tatyana (almost 4) in the Vladivostok region of Russia." Pray also for my friend Gwyn and what her involvement should be in helping folks adopt. TROUBLED YOUTH Thank you for continuing to pray for needy youth who are caught in a cycle of troubles. Pray especially for James, Dennis, Bryan, a young Russian boy and four other troubled young people. Pray these youth would come to Bible school. Pray also for Katrina who is missing. Her adoptive mother, Diane, says that she has "been missing for eight weeks now...She is on my site--the one sitting on the stairs. _www.unseenchild.com_ (http://www.unseenchild.com) " Pray for Diane, and her missing daughter.
