Orphans First Prayer Request update - Oct.8th, 2005 Dear Prayer Friends, Thank you for your continued prayers for our orphanage in HAITI--one of the poorest, most demonic nations in the world. As stated last time, we continue to strategize, having been forced to send some children "home" to precarious situations for lack of means to provide for all. Thank God, money is dribbling in so we are able to provide some food for those children who are there, and we're trusting God to continue providing, multiply provisions and to continue leading us in His will so that every child's needs will be met. The children in Grace Home, INDIA are doing well. We actually have some Tsunami victim children who were brought there in January and they are doing really well in spite of all they've been through. CHRISTMAS PROJECT - Some churches have requested fliers. Let's pray this results in ample funding so we can provide gifts for hundreds, even thousands, of needy children who would otherwise have nothing in many countries including: USA, Mexico, India, Haiti, Kazakhstan, Russia, Peru, Poland & Siberia (although I've heard nothing back form them yet)... RUSSIA - Alexandra continues bringing food, clothing and the Gospel to street children in Moscow. Pray for a miracle against the harsh Russian winter so that these children could be warm, extra-well fed and taken care of. TROUBLED YOUTH - Thank you for continued prays. Some of the youths have had a real breakthrough. So many of them come from dysfunctional families; others just willfully make wrong choices, but all need divine intervention. ADOPTIONS, FOSTER CARE etc. Please continue praying for the orphans needing a home. Pray also for the families adopting--for funds to come in. Pray for extra funds for the Joseph family (adopted two Modavian boys). They still lack funds and I would love for O.F. to contribute to them. SPECIALIZED PRAYER for TORTURED CHILDREN This is the month we pray especially for the persecuted church. In countries such as Sudan children witness horror. They see their parents tortured and killed before them before they themselves are enslaved. Boys are then forced to study the Quran while girls are made into sex-slaves. But torture does not end oversees... ***Every day in the USA 4 children die of child abuse in their homes.
