Orphans First Praise Report & Prayer Need - Sept.21, 05 ADOPTIONS Accomplished-- The Josephs finally adopted their two Moravian sons, after all these years. Now they're a family of 7, plus 2 dogs. Awesome. The boys are adapting. However, the Josephs have accumulated a debt of $ 5,160 which needs to be paid off. Please pray for that money to come in. (God was faithful & their van sold, but this debt remains. Susan is trying to work to pay the debt off but her schedule is overwhelming). In Process-- The Pekareks will be in Vladivostok, Russia for their "1st trip"(Russian adoptions require 2 trips). They are adopting two sisters, 13 & 3. Things are very tense in Vladivostok. Families are being scrutinized and grilled. They are the first family going from their group since early June. Please pray they have freedom to visit different churches, a ministry to street children and their girls' orphanage--that the Lord would give creative ways to share the love of Christ (as they don't allow any overt evangelism). Pray for the adoption of Nikita & Roman (no recent news), & a home for Sonia. POLAND Pray for orphan Regina, 16 years old. She is Ukrainian and needs money just for books for her studies = $ 140. Pray for the Sznajders & their 5 children. INDIA Steven is doing better, thank God. Continue praying for the Dumpala family's health and the 110 children. HAITI The situation at our orphanage in Haiti is still troubling. It seems the children do not have enough food. O.F. has been sending money and certainly it may not be enough, but there may also be poor management. Pray for a solution for the 57 children. Pray for the American couple who've been helping us access the situation & find a solution. Again, pray for wisdom, provision, and for God to really show us what to do. TROUBLED YOUTH We are working with some deeply troubled youth. Please pray for them -- that their eyes would be opened to truth, that they could find Jesus and follow Him wholeheartedly and be delivered from their issues. PERSONAL Please continue praying for my book deadline--that God would guide me & be glorified in this project. HURRICANE VICTIMS Of course, pray for all hurricane victims...
