Join me in weeping... Thank God some folks are giving to help, and that God  
allowed me to meet this couple who could see things first-hand there in

Today's news from our orphanage in HAITI
 
 
We saw the children and they broke our hearts.  They were on  day two without 
food.  They looked horrible.  Little tiny  children coughing and wheezing, 
they skin all dried out and thin frail arms and  legs.  We couldn't stand it any 
longer.  We went out and  spent approximately $250 of our own funds buying 
food for the children.   That should last 3 to 4 days, we hope.
 
We took one particularly sick little child back home with us.  He had  scales 
all over his skin, the circumference of his arm  was about the size of a 
quarter, his head was unusually large compared  to his frail body and he clung on 
to Susette and wouldn't let go.  When we  tried to leave he started crying 
hysterically.  So, we  decided to just take him home.  We bathed him, put cream 
on his skin and he  ate THREE large helpings of food for dinner.  He's one 
happy camper right  now.
