Orphans First Prayer Requests for URGENT adoption issues – July 14th 05 As I pass on more pressing prayer requests, I want to THANK YOU for your prayers for the innocent. Your kindness is immeasurable! Russian orphans – adoptions. From friends whose church has many folks who’ve adopted Russian orphans: “Please pray! Another family (3rd one) from our Church left yesterday for their first visit to Russia to meet the three teens they plan to adopt, two girls and one boy, brother and sisters. The oldest is a girl who is deaf. If she is not adopted in the next month or so when she turns 18 she will be institutionalized the rest of her life and not see her brother and sister. If the brother is not adopted in the next year or so, he will immediately go into the military. This family has limited financial resources, and will need to return to Russia a second time and hopefully return with the kids. *****There is a potential problem needing much prayer. Recently a two year old little girl who was adopted from Russia by US parents, she was beaten and killed by the mother after arriving in the US. This is the second account of a Russian orphan being killed in the US after adoption. Apparently, Russia is ready to close down adoptions with the US because they are very upset about these two cases.” Continue praying for: SONIA – desperate as time is running out and she needs a family. Josephs adopting 2 Moldavian boys - still lacking finances etc. USA – teens – pray for Evangelistic Crusade this weekend near L.A. with Greg Laurie – for thousands of young people to come to Christ. Other O.F. needs to pray for: …completion of O.F. letterhead, all office transition details. …Grace Home in India – we’re STILL not getting answers from them and are concerned. …our orphanage in Haiti – still desperately needs funds, and Christian input. …our children in Poland, …street children in Russia (Moscow, Kalingrad, St.Pete), …street children and those in state orphanages in Kazakhstan, …children’s ministries in Africa (Ghana, B.Faso, Ivory Coast), …for wisdom concerning all details of O.F. …new sponsors to meet the children’s needs, …a provision for the O.F. branch in France…..
