Dear Prayer Partners, Please remember Deanna's meeting today when she shares on a panel discussing the dilemma of certain foster situations. Her testimony could make a huge difference for children such as baby Emmy who was ripped away from the only loving family she'd ever known. (If you don't remember the details, I'm pasting below the prayer requests from June 25th to remind you). And please pray the letterhead gets done (pray for Jo) as it's almost July and we'll need to send out sponorship letters from our new office in Tacoma. This request is also urgent. Important meeting which could affect adoptions - June 29th. Pray for Deanna—an adopting parent who will be sharing her experience of losing the baby they were trying to adopt—on an adoption panel on Wed. June 29th from 2 pm to 4pm PST. Deanna will be sharing her experiences of losing their first placement baby, and now having a placement that we will adopt. The story is complex but Deanna asks for this: “I need peace and boldness...so I will speak the truth of what happened boldly and I will have God's peace to calm my nervousness.” Pray also for the two children Deanna and her husband are adopting – for the adoption completion. Pray for baby Emmy also. General Miscellaneous Pray for completion of O.F. letterhead and all office transition details. Pray for Grace Home in India – we’re not getting answers from them and are concerned. Pray for orphanage in Haiti – still desperately needs funds. Pray for Nikita’s upcoming trip to America, for his adoption and needed funds for that. Pray for our children in Poland, Russia (Moscow, Kalingrad, St.Pete), and in Africa (particularly in Ghana, B.Faso, Ivory Coast), Pray for wisdom concerning the small O.F. branch in France….. URGENT adoption issues - SONIA – desperate – time is running out. Please pray for Sonia, whose adoption fell through. Pray, and if you know of a family….. “What began as a story of hope and the ultimate fulfillment of a child's dream of coming home to a family has ended in tragedy in St. Petersburg, Russia. Sonia, the little girl who 4 years ago at our son's farewell party from their orphanage, took the pony tail holder from her hair and placed it on his wrist, was to have her adoption finalized on Wednesday, June 22. However, for reasons only the family can understand, they decided against completing the adoption. Sonia, 14, is left devastated. She has many, many friends who have been adopted in the United States who were eagerly anticipating her homecoming. You see, she has written many of them begging them to please find her a family. Of course, this was to be the fulfillment of her greatest wish. I pray that she will find another family quickly as the clock that allows her to be adopted is running down. She must find a home before her 16th birthday. International Family Services will not ask for additional fees for her adoption as they have been paid by this family. Any family that wished to adopt her would need to travel twice to St. Petersburg, Russia. The first time would be the official visit, the second time for court. Please pray for this child! I cannot imagine how her heart has been ravaged by the way these events have unfolded. Sincerely, Joyce Schaller “ Josephs adopting 2 boys from Moldova, still lacking finances etc. Here is the latest praise report and remaining needs to pray for the Joseph’ s adoption. “...unexpectedly we received a check yesterday from our church covering the entire change in the program fee. Now all we need is the $1,500 for Gheorghe and Misha's return airfare to join us in the States. The Lord is so awesome! Pls pray that He will provide that too. Our youngest son had his heart procedure on Wed. It did not go as well as we had hoped. (Details omitted...pray for this child) Also, Susan's father suffered a heart attack… - it has been a difficult pre-trip week, but God is still awesome and in control! Leave June 25th for Moldova! In Him, Susan” Thank you for praying, co-laboring with Jesus, Janey L.
