Orphans First Prayer Requests Jan. 19th, 2005 Dear Prayer Partners, As reports roll in from the Christmas Project, I want to thank you that you prayed (& some of you also donated finances). Children’s lives were touched deeply. Now please pray that those same teams that participated in the project but who do not have a regular work with orphans would in fact begin one. And please pray for those who do already work with orphans. Pray that funds would continue coming in so that we O.F. can continue meeting the needs. One outreach new to us is the work of Alexandra in Moscow who feeds the street children. Please pray we can continue supporting her. See this work on the Orphans First website, Russia page: http://www.orphansfirst.org/russia.html Pray for the new logo & brochure we are working on, and specifically for God to guide the hands of those designing. Pray also for that I can update the website & make needed corrections. And continue praying for the overall structure and function of Orphans First so that it can expand to reach more children, as well as to satisfy the sponsors. Orphans First is God’s work, and the devil hates it. Thanks also for praying for me to hear God’s voice, and be obedient in every detail of this ministry so that He is glorified and children are released from suffering. Continue praying for Christian adoptions: for children to be adopted, for Christians to pursue adoption, for funds to come in for those adopting & for the paperwork & details to run smoothly. Pray for Nikita, older boy in St.Pete, Russia still needing a home & very unhappy about being the only one of his age in his orphanage to not yet be adopted. Pray for a young teen boy, J----- who was adopted by a pastor but who recently lost his father. The boy is very sensitive &, of course, now devastated. Pray for Linda Khon & team from For His Glory Adoption Outreach who is presently in Haiti, and who will hopefully visit the orphanage we’ve adopted there with its 42 children. Pray for God to continue guiding & providing for that work. Continue praying for all our orphanages, street children’s ministries and work within the state orphanages in different countries. Pray especially for our orphanage in India, recently visited by Pastor White & team, & the work throughout Europe, different parts of Asia & Africa, and the Americas. Missions Trip to France, Switzerland & Italy – Thank you for praying for my husband, son & the 26 young people with them on this mission trip. Pray for Louis & Francesco to make all the necessary connections to get home (they travel standby) & for all to get home safely, & with a renewed vision for souls after this amazing, fruitful time.
