Orphans First Prayer Request January 6th, 2005 Dear Prayer Friends, Thanks for praying throughout 2004, and thanks for being available to pray for the children during 2005. Your prayers have changed little lives for Jesus. I’m sure everyone is following the Tsunami tragic news. It is expected that the toll will be 300, 000 (double the initial amount) owing to sickness & other repercussions of the catastrophe. Many orphans have been left afraid, alone, in need of dire necessities. Worse still, many are being stolen and trafficked to be used for sex-slavery. Please pray a miracle down from Heaven for these little ones caught up in the ugliest of Satan’s strategies. May our Lord snatch them up in His arms and deliver them all fast! Thank you for praying for the O.F. Christmas Project which has had fantastic results in many places so far, and is still going on in Russia & surrounding countries. Pray for Nastya & the team in Belarus who will be distributing Christmas gifts to children tomorrow. Pray for the children to know Jesus. Pray also for Moscow where we have given money for gifts for hundreds of orphans in state orphanages and also to buy warm clothes, food, blankets etc. for about 24 children living at the railway station. These children live in cardboard tee-pees and are very cold & hungry. Some are just babies, and their mothers just young girls. Much prayer is needed for these children and for Alexandra who ministers to them. Pray for Pastor White & friends visiting our orphanage in Guntur, India. Pray for God to protect their health & for them to be a great blessing to the children. Pray they can also help discern the needs so we can better serve India’ s children with Christ’s love. Pray also for God to show us how we can help another pastor near New Delhi, India begin a work with orphans in the future. Pray for my brother Mark & his family doing missions work in Singapore this month. Pray for my husband and son and the young people with them who are presently in France & will be doing missions work in France, Italy, Switzerland & Spain. Pray for a special covering over them and for God to use their presence in a mighty way to save souls, minister to our churches and build up the body of Christ as a whole. Continue praying for our orphanage in Haiti, and our involvement in several countries in Africa, & in Europe . May God guide and provide. And may I PRAY FOR YOU. I do from time to time but I’m asking God to remind me to pray for those who share the burden for the suffering children more and more. You are the warriors on the frontline of battle and you are making a difference. I’m sure your lives, like mine, are often targets for the enemy.
