Orphans First Prayer Requests December 15th, 2004 URGENT NEED Pray for a miracle for the needed finances for the Christmas Project. Money has been dribbling in but nowhere near the amount we still need to meet the children's needs. To be more precise, we have sent out $15430 thus far for the Christmas Project and have received only half of that amount in. This jeopardizes our monthly sponsorship if ever sponsors fail to send their contributions (which, unfortunately, does happen). Moscow still needs $ 3, 150 to provide gifts for 450 children in state orphanages. But how can we say no to these children who will otherwise receive no gift? I also need to come up with the $ 300 per month for Alexandra in Moscow who feeds street children. I'd also like her to give those kids some warm gifts. Please pray for an abundant provision. We still need to send money to St.Pete, Russia---one of our major orphans’ ministry locations. The need there is so great that we are forced to wait on God for funds. (To send all the children in one orphanage to the Winter camp requires a total of $ 10,000). And Mexico still needs $ 4,000 to provide new sneakers and gifts to 260 poor children. This does not include other countries still waiting for funds for Christmas including Belarus and Haiti. Have we stepped out in faith presumptuously? I trust not for our God is generous and cares for the hurting children more than we do. So let’s trust Him to touch hearts and provide. Please pray—and please communicate to others about the O.F. Christmas Project in case they should desire to donate. Gifts for Juvenile Delinquents stateside Pray that we will have enough beanie hats for the delinquent children we are ministering to here in the States. Pray that God will add speed and grace to the fingers of those crocheting these hats so that we will have them all in time for Christmas. NB---we are talking of children who would otherwise have NO CHRISTMAS GIFT. In contrast to all we spend for Christmas here in America, the paradox is sickening.
