Please pray URGENTLY for a little boy in St. Petersburgh waiting to go to
America with his new adoptive parents.  July 30th, 2001

        Adoption is God's hearts.  I pray that Christians would adopt
everywhere.  There are millions of parentless children all over the world. 
Please pray for Christians to adopt and for God to make it possible for
them, for Him to open each door, meet each need for this to happen.  How
terrible that the life of a child could depend on finances.  Please pray
for the following URGENTLY as time is short on this one.

        An American couple are in the process of adopting an 11 year old
Russian boy, desperately waiting to have loving parents at last, having
been abandoned for so long, and yet there is much resistance.  The couple
have spent much, much money, and had to buy plane tickets just to go sign a
paper in St. Pete.  Now they need more plane tickets to, hopefully, go get
their dear little boy.  
        I'm trying to connect them to our people in St. Pete to see if they
can help them find housing to cut expenses during their stay in there while
they do the paper work to bring their son home.  But time is SHORT.  They
are supposed to go in August to pick up their new son. 
Pray that we make the connections for them, 
that housing can be provided for them during the red tape process while
they get their boy, 
that money comes in for their tickets (you'd think Air Companies would help
when it comes to adoption wouldn't you?),
that God would OPEN WIDE all the doors, and prevent the devil's attempts to
make this adoption difficult,
most of all, pray this couple could bring their son home next month.

        Continue praying for all the abused children, for J*****,
Christopher, A***** and all the others like him.  Pray for child
prostitutes, child slaves, and for children unloved by their families or
mistreated.  Pray for 6 year old Jérome who is mistreated. Pray also for
Loic, a little boy whose brother died in an accident recently.  I
counselled Loic and it is hard for him to understand his brother is in
Heaven, particularly because his family are not yet born-again and have no
proper understanding to comfort their child.  Pray for God to heal the
broken hearts of children everywhere, everywhere, everywhere......
