Luke 13:16  "So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound——think of it——for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?"

Why did Jesus single out this women as the "daughter of Abrhaham"? What was special about that? Well Abraham walked with God by faith and is now called the father of faith. He obtained his promises from God before the law, by faith and Jesus was pointing out that people of faith have  a right to receive healing from God.

Galatians 3:29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Now today we are the seed of Abraham and are so also fitting into this women's category as a child of faith. Jesus pointed out "should this child of Abraham not be healed?" She had a covenant with God. A faith covenant. She was due to be healed by God. And so are we. Just all that is left is to make contact and believe in this covenant so that we can obtain its promises.
