"SIGNS & WONDERS AND MIRACLES FOLLOW THE PREACHING OF
GOD’S WORD 
 
 A large man walked straight up to Mrs Barbara Marshall whilst she was
preaching in the square by W.H. Smith in Leeds. We do not know why he
did this but he crumpled at her feet in a heap on the ground. 
  Many of these falling downs have occurred. Sometimes, like last week
(Nov 11th) in Harrogate, a man fell flat on his face. In Leeds many have
been reported as doing this. 
 
 Men stand transfixed to the spot.  

Unable to move their legs moving but their feet remaining glued to the spot.
Last week a young boy by himself came up to the preachers and  remained
transfixed unable to move one way or the other. Even when they left the
spot he remained in his spot about two feet from where the preachers were.
They looked back whilst walking away and he remained there.

 Another man walking past was unable to take his eyes of the preachers and
walked right into a handbag stand up-turning the whole stand.

Many curse when they are well dressed people who would never do this
normally. Several times we have heard them saying to themselves down the
street “I don’t why I did that!

 Healings, deliverance’s and salvation’s  obviously occur as a matter of
course. Some teams are more prone to these than others. One boy on a bus
was healed of cancer after the team leader asked what was wrong with the
child. He had cancer of the eye and the leader prayed for the boy. A few
weeks later the mother being so grateful for her child's healing found the
team leader in the streets and ran after her full of joy at what had happened
as she had the healing confirmed by doctors. 
 Often people who walked by angrily are drawn back almost, as it were,
against their will. You can see the fight going on inside them but a power
brings them back. Others go to the next city only to see the team ministering
there, though they may only do it once a week for one hour. 
 People have been set free from drugs, alcohol addiction, sicknessess and
diseases, the power of sin, and deception and the like and yet this was not
the main reason for our preaching at the bequest of the Lord Jesus Christ.
He told us to warn people and cry out for and to the nation. We said to Him
that we were so little and would not effect anything, but He said He would
do it if we did what we could. 

God is Faithful to His word 

 In  Wakefield :-  Two ladies smartly dressed were talking against the team
and passing by. One was pole-axed to the ground. Two Christians nearby
overheard their conversation and came and told us the scenario. 

 W.H.Smiths in Leeds  (just outside the building actually) four men
approached Milly whilst she was preaching. These were young men and
they made as if to pass by but one was stuck to the ground and couldn't
move though all the three tried to prize him away. 

 
 In  Dewsbury  one women walked straight up to the team leader who was
preaching and stood in front of her. Unobserved to her though only one or
two feet away. She could not stop swatting her neck as though she had
something biting  her there. Eventually she had to go away although it was
clear from her intention that she wanted to cause trouble but was prevented
from doing so. 
 In  Burnley  hundreds of people gathered supernaturally to hear the
preaching of God's word. Many to fight with it. The preachers were standing
on top of a flight of twelve steps and no one could come up beyond the sixth
step. They were prevented from doing so by an unseen hand. 

 In Pontefract   one car broke down right in front of the preachers and had to
sit and listen, like it or not, to the whole sermon. God captured.

 In Glasgow the Lord supernaturally led the team to the town centre and
positioned them in a certain spot outside the House of Fraser. They were
praying and asking God what and when to preach. They did not notice that
the House of Fraser had a fire scare and the whole shop was directed out
onto the street right in front of the team. About 2000 in all. Then the Lord told
them to preach NOW! They opened their eyes to preach and were amazed
at the crowd that stood before them 

 In  Ireland  the Lord told the team to go without making any preparations for
board and lodgings. They left early and took their car across on the ferry. In
the first town (they were directed to Belfast and Dublin) they found that there
was a temporary peace a lull in the fighting that was currently in progress in
Ireland. They went walking around the town and singing praises to God and
then the Lord drew their attention to a church and told them to enter it and
that this was the place that they were to be. (None of them had ever been to
Ireland before) 
 Inside the pastor was amazed to see them and offered them his mother's
house who had just gone away on holiday. So the whole team were house
and fed for the night as the Lord told them they would be. 
 

 In  Oldham  three young men approached the team in a mocking stance.
One of them stuttered and the team leader ask him, though they were all
critical, if he wanted to be healed? He said "Go on then" and instantly he
stopped his stuttering to the amazement of all his friends. 

 In London   at Trafalgar Square the team arrived as instructed by the Lord.
But there was no one there. They prayed and when they opened their eyes
they were amazed to see hundreds of people drawn around them. 

 In  Cardiff , Wales the team had forgotten their drinks whilst the earnestness
of preaching was upon them and then the Lord provided. When they turned
around without telling anyone another group of Christians unknown to them
had brought them drinks so they could be refreshed whilst preaching. (They
had left theirs in the car) 
 In Leeds  a women whilst walking by the preacher got "tuck" to the
preacher by her shoulders. Amazing and supernaturally she stayed there for
some time back to back. A little sign.
 
 In Sheffield a man tried to drowned out the preachers coming against them
virulently. He played his guitar and sang at the top of his voice against them.
Suddenly, as if an unseen hand reached down, every one of his guitar
strings snapped. 

 In Leeds Market  the team had finished preaching and a hush came over
the entire market so that the team walked the whole length of the market
with a silence that could have heard a pin drop though many people were in
the large market that day. This phenomena often happens whilst preaching.
The whole street will suddenly go silent so that only the preacher is heard
preaching though hundreds of people are present. It has happened many
times in the centre of Leeds alone. Hundreds perhaps even thousands of
people just go silent when the salient words in the middle of the preaching
go forth. 
 In  Leeds  one man came up to tell how he hated God and then broke
down saying that some lady years ago had led his mother to Jesus only to
have the same lady come up to the two engaged in conversation amazingly
at that very time. This happened right in the busy shopping mall in the centre
of Leeds. They were all so amazed that God could have arranged such a
meeting. He still wants all to be saved! 
 In  Derby  man came up to heckle and his whole face contorted and twisted
into an unnatural stance that obviously showed his demonic possession
which could not be hidden before the face of the preachers nor anyone else
who cared to see. 

 In Bradford  a boy who came nearby with his mother had a terrible case of
being cross eyed. His eyes straightened immediately   when a team member
prayed for him. 

 In Grimsby the showed the team exactly where to preach ahead of time by a
vision that when they arrived at Grimsby they saw the exact place they had
seen in the vision previously though never having been to this city before. At
the beginning there was no one there but when they began to preach a
large crowd gathered in this very spot. 
 

In York  we had our very best responses though much persecution too. Here
crowds in excess of" 500 HUNDRED would gather at one time to here
preachers, young women, who had never preached before in or out of
church.  
 Here, in York, the greatest and most amazing things have happened. Too
many really to telling in detail because we would be going on all day. Here
the police have turned from being against to now hugging the preachers and
telling them they admire them. From arresting them to arresting the trouble
makers. Even when the power that be insist on their being arrested as there
are people behind the scenes manipulating everywhere, the police are
apologetic and state that it is nothing to do with them. 

 In Burnley  one women grabbed an egg that she had and smashed into one
of the team members with virulent intent. Hatred was all over her face.
However she could not refuse to listen to the words preached and later
came back and gave her heart to the Lord Jesus and got Born Again 


 These are some signs and wonders that followed the preaching of His word.
There are many more but we loose count and forget many things that
happen every time we go out to preach. They are not the reason we go out
to preach. The Lord told us to preach to the nation and that is what we are
doing. He told us that He would do what we could not do. And He is doing
that.
