FAther God, whenever your child has asked for your help You have never failed. MS is a progressive disease and onlyYOU have the power to heal. Give Elaine the strength and courage in this her dark hour... you make all things possible and I demand in Elaine's name that you lay your hand on her and heal her. She is your child and needs your protection. I pray this in Jesus name, Amen Dear Elaine, I truly understand your despair .... as i am a movement and music therapist and work with MS Society of India. When I started with them in the beginning they would only talk about the progression of their problems and how it affected their lives, how they came to loathe themselves and also railed at God for inflicting it on them at such a young age. I saw such wonderful human souls and could only vacariously claim to understand their despair. Over the last 8 months they have learnt the power of prayer and also how to deal with their circumstances. Prayer allows for you to know that there is no end .... and if there is no end there is always hope. Hold on to your hope and believe strongly that God will work in His own time and give you the strength to live from one moment to the next. Fill your life with things that u can still do .... talk to people about the MS problem ... very few know or understand it .... here even the doctors are ignorant. There is an MS Society every part of the world .... it helps to talk about it with others. And if you have any programme that has a movement based theraphy ... it does a world of good. Believe that you will make it happen one day at a time and it will. God never fails. I have men and women who have lost their motor skills and are now able to do little things for themselves. You definitely need to lose weight .... probably a good diet will help. try doing simple abdominal exercises that will reduce the fat around the waist area and that should help. Above all, Keep the Faith and demand a miracle.
