I don't think I've posted anything yet.  Your intro prompted me. :)

I am 25 years old and have been interested in the healing ministry for
about 7 years.  My interest grew out of an experience which I had and am
still having.  I am developing a Web site about this, but it's not ready
yet. :)

I grew up in the Church of God, which headquarters in Anderson, Indiana.
During my teen years, I did a lot of Bible reading on my own.  It was then
that I started to learn about healing, spiritual gifts, and such.  While I
was attending Anderson University, I met several people whose words &
actions led me to seek healing and the filling of the Spirit.  My church
had never promoted seeking to be Spirit-filled as it is promoted in more
charismatic churches.  It was also while I was at Anderson University that
I lost the remainder of my vision--I was born with a very severe visual
impairment.  Several weeks later muchof that vision was given back to me.
I still have the visual impairment, and I am still unable to see printed
materials, but every so often (usually after an important step forward in
my spiritual life), I notice small improvements.

Like you, I have also endured the loss of a close friend to suicide.  This
was the first of several experiences which has led me to seek to know
about and how to pray for inner healing.
