In response to your question is Jesus the same, well, yes He is.... You
see, it is not that Jesus' healing power has changed, but our faith has
weakened since the days He walked the earth...You see we can't claim
healing and then if we don't see it right away, then denounce it.....
Sometimes we have to stand for our healing......For example.. I used to
have epilepsy.... I believed that Jesus could heal me... I went for more
tests and the doctor told me that I still had abnormal brain patterns and
would have to be on medication for the rest of my life... I came home
crying... I said to my mother, "I really believed mom, but...." But before
those words of unbelief came out of my mouth, my mother stopped me, and
told me not to give up... The doctor ordered an extensive test..He told me
that it will come back abnormal and not to get my hopes up.... Well, it
came back normal.. and I have been off medication and seizure free for 9
years... You see, if I would have been healed the first time, I probably
would have thought I outgrew the problem instead of giving God the glory He
deserves..... There are several things that can keep you from getting your
healing....
(1) unforgiveness - is there someone in your life that you have hard
feelings for? Maybe even God?
(2) unbelief - do you truly believe that the Lord will heal you? Do you
believe so much that you would stake your life on it? If not, then there
is unbelief...
(3) demonic activity- who owned or rented your house before you did? You
should find out... they may have been involved in demonic activities.. What
kind of people do you let in your life? What kind of programs do you allow
on your tv? Not all programs are obvious when it comes to demonic
influences.. What kind of reading material do you read? etc... you need to
examine every area of your life.
(4) unrepented sin- sometimes we justify our actions, but are they
justifiable in God's eyes?
If you can't pinpoint any sin in your life, then ask the Lord to show
you if there is any...
(5) watch your words, words are very powerful.. the power of life and death
are in the tongue... you see, you can't say you are healed, then say you
are not healed.... because then you cancel what you claimed before.....I
will tell you a little story....
There was a man traveling with his family... They were in a car accident...
The family was thrown all over the highway.... His wife was on the ground
praying in the spirit...The ambulance came and brought the whole family to
the hospital, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.... The doctor
could not understand why the man died, he did not have any serious
injuries....This grieved the wife of the dead man... she finally asked the
Lord.. Lord, why did my husband die? The Lord brought her back to the
accident scene.... The man got out of his car and saw his whole family
laying around the highway.. He thought his family was dead, so HE SAID ' I
AM A DEAD MAN'.... as soon as he said that, satan took his life.... the
power of life and death are in the tongue.... just as God moves when it
comes to words of faith.. satan moves when it comes to words of unbelief
and doubt......
Yes,it is God's will to heal, but what is holding Him back? Emotions do
not move God.. Faith moves God....and if there is something in the way of
Him reaching you with His healing power, then get it out of the way....and
just STAND IN JESUS' NAME...
