Arrested Again 5th May,1999

Arrested 28th April,1999. Put into cells for the rest of the afternoon. Charged with section five harassing and abusive behaviour. Banned from the city centre. Mrs Bate, Alison Redmond-Bate and Tracy Hudson were all arrested.

She will appear in court this morning,6th May 1999.

Mrs Bate had to stay in the cells overnight as she will be charged in the morning with breaking bail because she choose to preach in the Leeds City Centre after being told by the police that she was not to. The only reason for this is because the police do not have any respect for the preachers. If it were a organ player or another musician nothing is ever done but with preachers of the word of God then everything changes.

Alison and Tracy were let out after a brief stay in the police station. Alison first and then Tracy. Alison asked the Lord if she should go back to the city centre to preach again as they had only preached for ten minutes. The Lord told her she must go. She then asked the Lord to confirm it by sending two green cars around the corner at that very moment and two green cars came around the corner right then. (Green cars are not common here) So she went to preach, uneasy because she was a women alone.

Upon arrival the women who had assaulted her the week before approached her there. This women had bitten Alison on her arm and held her down to the floor by her hair from an upright standing position. Because she had seen the subsequent arrests for no reason the second week she wanted to apologise and she did.

Then another man who had been present during that time came forward and asked her forgiveness because he had not intervened to stop the assault when he could have and he was a Christian at that too. They are very weak here, the Christians.

At the moment Alison stopped preaching the second time she was surprised to see that Tracy had rejoined her to preach again at the request of the Lord Jesus and so they both preached again for the best part of an hour, unhindered this time by the police.

We await the outcome of Mrs Bate's bail breaking here today.
