Thank you Pastor Phill for praying for us, as you can imagine the last 1 1/2 years have given us a lot to cope with yet I know I could not have come through all this if it were not for the Lord holding me up. John has been in intensive care for 4 weeks (hospital for 7 weeks, though now at home) and was lost twice during the operation, this operation may give him a year or two to live as I said earlier.Michael sees the specialist today for the results of the radiation treatment on his throat. He has been unable to eat since Dec.12th last year, hopefully now that the treatment is finished his throat will heal as he has lost a lot of weight and I am praying that an operation will not be needed for him and that the treatment was successful. Having two brothers with cancer after losing a son to suicide and all the other members of our family is a lot of stress as you can imagine, as our son left a young widow and two small children. Our daughter was pregnant with her 2nd child when she lost her brother and now with two small children is finding all a little hard to cope with it. I have been praying also for the Lord for healing of this ulcer and to remove all anxiety and depression from me. I cannot pray effectively for my family & others if I am not 100% myself.I believe the Lord still heals today, that he took upon Himself not only our sins but our diseases and infirmities and that he came to give life and give it to the full. I also know that not all christians and ministers believe that healing is available today. My husband and I are the christians in our family though at the moment I don't feel a strong christian with my faith so low, but I am praying that the Lord will change my families hearts so that they may also turn to Him, for he loves us and died for us. Before my brothers had there treatment and operations they did ask me to pray for them, so maybe after all this they may open their hearts to God so that He may come in. My prayers have seemed at most times ineffective and so this is why I have asked for the prayers of others, for where two or more agree on anyone thing, this will be done for them by my Father in heaven.I sincerely thank you for agreeing to pray for us, I realise that there are so many in need of prayer today and we are but one family in need.
