> Looks like OpenOffice is a very valid interoperability solution > to assist those who plan to avoid costs, instability, and virus > susceptibility of Microsoft products. I used StarOffice (upon which OpenOffice is based) for two years while I was in Hong Kong, and was very happy with it. Now I'm using a Mac with Classic OS, so I don't have the opportunity to give OpenOffice the torture test, but it must be pretty similar. Which reminds me, just recently I was faced with the question of Church Management software options. Is anybody familiar with *any* Church Management package for Linux. (I'm not talking about databases which can be customised, but Church-specific solutions out of the box.)
